Children - Puppets??

In today's world in my view and in things that i have viewed, parents are more demanding than even the actual aims or goals which they try to force are. A parent believes that whatever they do for the child is for its own good and since they birthed the child it is their choice that should be given first priority in life. Why are children considered to have lack of ambition or goals in today's world?? Because from the age that they can understand language and comprehend speech, they are forced the ambitions and goals of their parents which prompts me to ask, are children to be treated as heirlooms?? As responsibilities instead of a living breathing soul who should also have his say in his life?? Granted, children do not truly understand what is good for them, but that does not mean a parent should take away or dash their dreams away. For god sakes, even the parents of today for all their talk of how they had it harder in their day, actually had it easier. Atleast, from wherever thaey came, from small streets or bad houses with bad lighting or whatever "unthinkable" conditions they came from at least had the liberty to choose and know what they could do in their lives. It almost seems sometimes that the parents worked hard only for their own gains and then force children that they bequeath to follow a set pattern of life that they believe is right.

Think about this : A child who wishes to become a bus conductor because he thinks it would be fun to ride a bus all day does not necessarily become a bus conductor. Let him have his dreams and so called ambitions instead of wiping them away roughly. When a child is threatened or scolded or even "adviced" on such matters the child can believe his choices are either not good enough or that their parents become bully's. Both ways, it is a negative impact on the child...

Edenrock Song 2

Waking to a life
I thought i'd never have
My taste of freedom
In a world with none to spare

Open up your eyes
Wipe away your tears
There's freedom in the lord
you have nothing to fear

Chorus:-

{They can always take us, but they can never break us
They can never take our freedom in god
They can take our bodies, but never our souls
They can never break our faith in god

And as we go on
We'll always know
With god on our side
We're never alone
And as we go on
And live our lives
We'll always remember
His sacrifice}

Living our lives
It soon becomes clear
Hard to tell apart
What to love or what to fear

Will we ever change it all
Will we ever see it done
Will salvation take us all
When our time on earth is done

CHORUS

Edenrock Song 1

Title - Hold On

Moving in the shadows
Listening to what people say,
the world's so dark,
or is it too hard to see

Im looking for a light
to show me the way
Awake through the night
Waiting for the day

Chorus:-

{Hold On
Dont stop on your way
Press on
Dont you go astray
Cos the light of the world
will help you now and forever more
Jesus Christ, Son of God}

Walking in the rain
Trying to get a hold on life
The night's full of pain
Is the sun ever gonna rise

Im looking for a clear sky
to bring me the light
Sometimes a silver lining
You just cant get in life

CHORUS

Break:-
(
When you feel like
you're falling down
When you feel like
you cant see where you're going
Just hold on to Jesus
) - 2 times

CHORUS

What are children to parents?

When i say this, i speak about this generation and my limited experience with them. What are children to parents? Are they the next generation whose sole purpose is to fulfll a dream the parent did not achieve and is using his offspring to do it instead? If so, can the child work, study and live on a dream that is solely not of his own? And if he can, is it right to make him/her to do it? Are they the source of income so that the family can be taken care of in the future? If so, then is it right to force the child through a path laid with money but not of interest? I ask these questions because the ideal answer, that the child is the parent's gift with the help of God to the world, that a child is the parent's own flesh and blood and a continuation of life in this world and that the child, is first and foremost, a human being with its own rights. These answers either do not exist or are heavily covered up in all the wrong in life that they just do NOT appear possible in our world.

Friendship in our lives

I believe that even if a person has all the basic prerequisites of company in life such as a family, it is imperative that he has a friend. Even though we DO have to be open with our family, our parents if not brothers and sisters, there are things that we are not so comfortable in confiding with our family. In these instances, a friend is the perfect outlet for you to let go of your true feelings and still feel secure. Mind you, i'm talking about a trusted friend here. There are also things which only a friend can be expected to do or say in a situation, especially in the case of single children or children who are at loggerheads with their siblings, that a parent cannot and most probably should not say. For example, a person flunks in an exam and has to rewrite it. His parents express their disappointment in his performance and may even punish the child depending on his degree of performance. The child does need this, in a way, but this alone is not enough because he/she needs a person that he/she might feel encouraged by to perform well. A parent, most probably would not do this with fear of "losing face", but a friend can be the moral support during those times.

Imagination - Friend and Foe

From the tongue of Onema, the thought - "Imagination, as is termed by humankind is the most powerful thing they possess which is their own. Faith and love are of greater power and value but are of Heavenly descent and they too do not have the power to weave through the minds and hearts of men as imagination does. It is our only link which is left intact to God, for it is the only quality unique to the creator and its creations. Imagination, when truly wielded with precision, can open gateways to worlds outside the boundaries of this dimension and yes, can even help in salvation and its attainment partially. But, the dark god is ever-scheming and has found the anti-thesis to this divine tool. For every right turn made by man in the way of pure imagination, his nightmares, the embodiment of his fears and the creations of the mind of men, can be used by IT. For, if IT could manipulate the creations of the creator, what is there to stop IT from manipulating the creations of the creation. IT's own form is itself derived from the minds of man, and so as man might take the short hourney to Divinity through the bridge of Imagination, it is a narrow one and one has three choices on the bridge - continue forward, turn back or fall down. And when they fall, it is pitiful what happens to them as the mental state, the soul of the man is torn apart and flung to far pieces of his own Void and is stuck in eternal purgatory." =:njldst:=

Who is he, the dark god?

From the tongue of Onema, the thought - " 'He' as you call him would be more correctly classified as 'it' in your tongue. IT has no name that can be pronounced in your tongue. IT has been proclaimed in existence in all religions and beliefs of humanity. In Greek mythology, he is called Prometheus. His accounts are not exact as is believed by the greeks of 2 millenia ago, but his deeds and punishments are same. He brought 'fire' to humankind which was indeed the knowledge which seemed to brighten the Human mind. Only in the Bible is his true nature unveiled, that of malice and hatred, of pain and veangence and most importantly, of trickery and deceit. For is not fire the source of light, that casts shadows and darkness under all objects?" =:njldst:=

First Chronicle of Onema

This is the chronicle of Onema, the thought, to John Angeldust of the host of spirit observing the Paladhrim, seeker of the truth - "Behold this chronicle, spoken in the words of man from the tongues of the demon, the chronicle which proclaims the arrival of the dark god to this plane of reality and realm of existance. Behold how he will use humanity's greatest weapon, its intellect and reasoning, against itself. It will kill, it will destroy, it will subjugate, and none of this will happen underground or away from the public eye but in the open for all to see. And this will be his greatest triumph, to use man's greatest gift, the gift of reason, which in truth was his gift to them. Do you know how this will happen, o spirit dwelling in mortal flesh, it will be because of humanity's pride. They work and toil and persevere in their little world and believe they have conquered all, all with their reason which has in truth led them far away from all that is faith. Faith and reason can co-exist, but not the reason and reasoning of man. For was this world not conceived in the reasoning of God, not of man? So it is that while humanity rallies itself to THINK about the probability, possibility and rationality of the coming of apocalypse, it will already have been upon them. And they, who's vanity in their works and superiority have built fortresses and cities, will be crushed under his bootheel by the same human vices." =:njldst:=
